***THIS RIFLE IS WELL BELOW THE SERIAL NUMBER SAFETY CUTOFF. IT HAS NOT BEEN FUNCTION FIRED AND CMP CANNOT RECOMMEND FIRING THIS RIFLE****

VERY Low number 1903 Springfield, .30-06. SA barrel, 8-06. Bore is fair with evidence of prior pitting and moderate wear. Rifle passes headspace on a Clymer NoGo gauge and TE/M readings are good for a Field grade. Arsenal repark finish is in good condition. Early type rear sight base is in very good condition. GI scant stock is good with only minor dents and dings. Recoil block is intact.
