Markings & Other information: Exceptional condition post war Service grade M1. This rifle is mostly correct with just a few exceptions. Very good military finish on all parts with very little visible wear. The stock is a Springfield with a boxed “SA JLG” and Ordnance Wheel cartouche, as well as a serif “P” proof mark. Stock has light dings and wear but overall is structurally sound and in good shape. An orange NAVMC 1018-SD inspection tag hanging on the front stock swivel. Serial number on the tag matches the rifle and is dated June 11, 1959.
