The barrel is a SA 8-43 with a muzzle reading of 1 and throat reading of 1+. Headspace is strong and is on the lower end of industry specification when measured with Clymer headspace gauges. Bore is hazy with signs of frosting and minor pitting with good but worn lands and grooves. The stock is a post war HRA stock with a ½”x ½” DoD acceptance stamp and circled “P” proof mark. It has dings and dents throughout but has good lock up and is overall structurally sound.
