DESCRIPTION

Rock Island Arsenal FIELD GRADE

M1903

Serial Number 132117

Highlights:

Muzzle: 2+

Throat: 2+

Barrel: RIA, 4-09

The bore of this rifle is Dark and Pitted

Receiver: Fair Military finish

Bolt: Complete, Rearward Bend

Markings & Other information: LOW #, UNSERVICEABLE. Rifle HAS NOT been Test Fired. SN Falls Below Safety Cut Off

Early RIA 1903. Receiver in Fair condition w/ some military finish. REC has light surface pitting. BBL is RIA 4-09 w/ dark bore. Light pitting in bore. Stock is straight w/ no finger grooves. Small Brass cross studs. VERY faint stamping on left side. Appears to be JA and Ordnance Wheel. Other metal parts in FAIR condition.
