Markings & Other information:        This rifle has not been test fired.  

This Field Grade Krag is in overall very good condition.  The receiver has a worn finish.  The barrel is shorter that normal but is longer than a carbine or Board of Ordnance and Fortification rifle.  Bore is dull, shows some wear and has 4 riflings and a right hand twist.  The stock is in very good condition with only a few minor dents and dings and the letters GH scratched into the left cheek area.  Magazine is in good working order and cycles a dummy round correctly.
