Springfield Service Grade 7.62 NATO M1 Garand MK 2, Mod 0. The receiver has little wear and no pitting with a good military finish. The barrel made in 1943 was rechambered to 7.62mm NATO by adding a sleeve to the chamber. Throat and muzzle readings are very good and the bore is bright. The stock shows considerable wear and has a faint DoD acceptance stamp. Parts are of mixed Mfr.
