Rifle is in overall Very Good condition. Pre-64, controlled feed, Model 70 action w/ factory side and top sight/ scope base mounting holes. Finish is Very Good and “US PROPERTY” can be found etched into the left side of the receiver. Bolt has entire SN etched on underside. Factory heavy target barrel in .30-06 has factory scope and front sight base holes. Bore is bright w/ very little wear. Stock is factory target style with front rail which is missing the forward screw. Action is minimally bedded at the recoil lug, rear heel, and just under the barrel. “NJNG” (possibly NJ National Guard) is found stenciled on both side of the butt with a 5 stenciled on the forend to the right of the barrel. Stock is in Very Good condition overall w/ some light signs of use.
