Rifle is in overall Very Good condition w/ Very Good military finish throughout. Receiver and action are in serviceable condition w/ very little wear. Bolt has last 4 of the serial number etched on top and the bottom surface is polished. The trigger has had the first stage creep reduced and the top of the hammer polished. The last 4 of the serial number have been etched in the magazine plate. The barrel is a SA produced 7.62mm barrel. It has a bright bore, great T/M readings, and headspaces using SAAMI spec .308 WIN gauges. The stock is a late replacement that has been glass bedded to the action. The handgaurds have been bedded to the lower band and barrel. The gas cylinder has has the rear face relieved, the rear ring opened up, and the rear shelf cut down to ensure no contact w/ the barrel or front handguard. Parts are of mixed manufacturer.
