This rifle is unsafe to shoot and was not test fired because it is below the safe SN Range. It is sold for collecting purposes only.
This rifle is in overall good condition. The receiver has some wear and some pitting. The bolt does not drop on the Headspace go gauge but will close if pushed. The barrel is in very good condition with excellent muzzle and throat readings and a bright bore. The stock is a straight stock with finger grooves, a few dents and dings and a clear cartouche [B.A.-J.L.] which is a rebuild stamp from the Benecia Arsenal. Parts are from mixed manufacturers.
