Markings & Other information: Springfield M1 Garand Mk2 Mod 1

Rifle is in overall Very Good Condition. Very Good military finish in metal parts throughout. Receiver shows minimal wear to finish. 7.62 NATO is etched on the left side of the receiver which was common on early Mk2 Mod 0 rifles. Many Mk2 Mod 0’s were converted to Mod 1’s. Barrel is SA 9-65 Mk2 Mod 1 7.62mm barrel. Bore is bright and muzzle reading is good. Throat reading is high but the rifle is still safe to shoot and functions as designed. Stock is a late replacement and is in Very Good condition. Parts are of mixed manufacturer.
