Markings & Other information: Underwood M1 Carbine
The rifle is in overall very good condition both mechanically and cosmetically. Very good blued finish on metal parts throughout but the finish on the trigger group turned purple. Receiver is type 2 w/ integral spring tube. Late style adjustable rear sight installed. Barrel is Inland MFG 2-44 w/ bright bore. Stock is a “pot belly” style with a “W” and “1109” stamped in the sling relief cut. Parts are of mixed manufacturer.
