Overall condition is excellent. Rifle was built on a sporterized 1903 action. Metal parts have very good matte blue finish except for the scope bases which are color case hardened. The bolt has been shaved down at the bent to give extra clearance to the scope tube. The barrel is a Criterion 1903 GI contour in .30-06. The bore is bright and has like-new readings. The stock is a Keystone C stock w/ a handguard that has been modified to clearance the front scope base. The scope bases are Steve Earle productions that are a bit taller than standard GI Unertl bases. The scope is a Wm. Malcolm USMC-SNIPER Gen 1 scope tube in J. Unertl rings. The click adjustments are clean and the mounts secure tightly to the bases. The parts are of mixed manufacture.
