The rifle is in overall excellent condition. It is built on a factory Remington 700 left handed long action. The receiver is in excellent condition. The barrel is a custom heavy barrel in .308 w/ a bright bore. The trigger is a custom two stage of unknown manufacturer. It does not have a safety or a bolt release button. Because of the absence of a bolt release mechanism, a hole was drilled and tapped on the side of the receiver and a bolt was installed to work as a bolt stop. This modification was done by the AMU.
