Markings & Other information: Springfield Armory SERVICE GRADE With many National Match Parts.

This rifle is in overall Very Good condition.  The receiver has a very good military finish.  The barrel has a bright bore and very good muzzle and throat readings.  The stock is a late SA with ½” DoD stamp and very few dents or dings.  Parts are from mixed manufacturers with many being National Match.  

National Match Parts:  1) Barrel marked NM with correct drawing No.  2) Rear sight base, aperture, windage knob marked NM.  3) WCE elevation pinion.  4) Hammer polished on top and hooks.  5)  Sear milled to a point and polished.  6) Op-rod is polished at the contact point with the barrel.  7) Gas Cylinder rear ring reamed to prevent contact and tail is milled at horizontal 45° angles. 8) front sight marked NM 062.
