Markings & Other information: Remington Model 40-X, 11652
The receiver is in good condition with a good blued finish. The receiver has an aluminum bedding block mounted and fits the stock very tightly. The stock is bedded and has 11652 in the barrel channel, the bolt also has 11652 etched into the bottom. There is a possible small crack in the grip of the stock. The barrel has partial length fluting between the forend of the stock and the front sight mount. The bore is bright and has an excellent muzzle reading. See the attached pictures for more detail.
