Mann Accuracy Device
Mann Accuracy Devices (MADs) were used by both US military and commercial companies to test the accuracy of ammunition. MADs have a very thick barrel and were mounted to prevent movement during firing so that the only variable was the ammunition itself.

Other information and markings: Mann Accuracy Device (MAD) This MAD is in overall good condition. The barrel and receiver show some wear through use. The follower has been replaced with a plate to make it a single shot device. The bolt is intact and functions correctly with the trigger group. the safety and bolt cutoff also function properly. Barrel markings are as follows:
