This rifle is in overall excellent condition. The receiver has a very good finish. The barrel has an excellent finish, a bright bore and excellent muzzle that throat readings. The late replacement stock has been poly coated and has very few dents or dings. Parts are from mixed manufacturers.
AFPG Modifications include:
1. Bottom of barrel polished where the Op-Rod makes contact.
2. The Op-Rod is polished where it makes contact with the barrel.
3. The Gas Cylinder is trimmed at the tail and the ring has been reamed out both to prevent contact
4. The trigger sear has been shaped and polished to a point.
5. The Windage knob has been altered to provide ½ MOA adjustments
6. The receiver has been drilled under the windage knob for a spring and plunger for the ½ MOA adjustment.
7. Stock and handguards are poly coated
8. Stock is numbered 8002 near the front and dated 10 71.
9. Lower band screwed and bonded to front handguard
10. Rear handguard trimmed under rear to prevent contact.
11. Bolt polished at front, rear and bottom.
12. Barrel is knurled where the lower band sits.
13. Rear Sight base polished where aperture makes contact
14. Aperture has been polished on the bottom.
