Markings & Other information:
This rifle is in very good condition overall. The barrel and receiver have a very good finish. The barrel has a good muzzle and throat reading with excellent rifling. The receiver is etched LEAD 12-45 on the right front receiver leg indicating a Dec 1965 rebuild at the Letterkenny Army Depot. The stock a SA with SA GAW cartouche with standard ordnance escutcheon and a mini ordnance escutcheon on the bottom of the grip; it also has a circle serif P arsenal inspection mark on the grip and is stamped AAG (Augusta Arsenal) on the left side near cartouche. The parts are from mixed manufacture with several being SA.
