Markings & Other information: Springfield Armory Model 1903 Mark I, Field Grade
This rifle is in overall good condition. The mark I receiver has a good finish. The barrel has a good finish, good muzzle and throat readings and a dull bore with pitting. The stock has many dents and dings. This rifle has almost all the parts that are unique to the mark I which include: The trigger, bolt cutoff and cutoff spindle and the stock has the ejection port cutout. It is lacking only the Mark I sear assembly. Other parts are from mixed manufacturers.
