This rifle is ceremonial and can shoot blanks only, see Blank Warning to determine proper blank ammo. Shooting improper blanks can have catastrophic results.
The gas cylinder is welded to the locking screw which is holding the blank adapter in place. The barrel is also welded to the receiver. The receiver is marked with both SA-52 and O-66 rebuild markings. The stock is a late replacement which shows some wear and many dents and dings. Other parts are from mixed manufacturers.
