This late WW II production Springfield M1 is in overall very good condition. The receiver has a worn finish but few blemishes. The SA barrel has very good throat and muzzle readings, excellent rifling, a tight chamber, and a very bright bore. The SA stock set is in very good condition with minor cosmetic dents and dings. The stock has an SA NFR cartouche, ordnance escutcheon, and circled serif P. Many parts identifiable as SA and used in the production window of March through June of 1945 by SA.
