Markings & Other information:  

This rifle is in excellent condition overall. The barrel and receiver have very good finishes. The barrel has excellent muzzle and throat readings, excellent rifling, and the bottom has been polished; due to the barrel date and heat lot it is believed that this barrel has been converted to 7.62 with a chamber bushing and is not safe to be fired. The receiver has had the AFPG rear sight modification done for ½ MOA adjustment. The stock is a late replacement that has been bedded, is stamped 2722 and 3 67 on the top of the fore end of stock, 499 in barrel channel, has DoD acceptance mark, and circle serif P arsenal inspection mark. The parts are from mixed manufactures with several modifications. 

The following parts have been modified for accuracy. 

Barrel - underside polished 

Op-rod – polished 

Bolt – polished  

Rear sight – ½ MOA windage adjustment 

Hammer – polished 

Trigger – Polished 

Gas cylinder – Rear tab and ring milled to not contact  

Stock – bedded and front ferrule unitized 

Front handguard – Unitized and bedded 

This rifle has not been test fired by CMP due to barrel chamber sleeve possibly dislodging. No warranty expressed or implied.
