Model 1873 Socket Bayonet

Markings: “US” on base of blade, “A” on the socket
Condition: Excellent
Used on: The .45 caliber Model 1873 Trapdoor Springfield from 1873 to 1903.
Description: Blued Steel, Triangular blade with grooved sides and top. The socket is mortised for a stud on the rifle barrel. The clasp is missing the screw.
