This rifle is in excellent condition overall. The receiver and barrel have excellent finishes. The receiver has the modification for the 7th round stoppage and is inscribed on the receiver leg “A4 6-65” indicating it was rebuilt at the Anniston Army Depot in June 1965. The barrel has a bright bore and excellent muzzle and throat readings. The bolt is lightly inscribed with the serial number. The stock is a late replacement with only a few dents and dings and no markings. Parts are from mixed manufacturers.
