TERMS OF USE:

  1. ELIGIBILITY FOR USE:  Please note that most items require that a customer must first provide to the CMP proof of age, US citizenship, and current membership in a CMP affiliated organization. These items include: military surplus items, ammunition, and special sale items that are offered to our membership only because of discounted prices or very small available quantity. Before any of these items may be purchased, customers should mail proof of meeting eligibility requirements to CMP Customer Service, 1401 Commerce Blvd., Anniston AL 36207; scan and email to custserve@thecmp.org, or fax to CMP Customer service as 256-835-3527. A sales order form and the eligibility requirements may also be included in the payment of your auction item. 
  1. PRIVACY POLICY: CMP respects your privacy and will not sell, trade, or share your personal information. We will however, provide personal information to law enforcement agencies upon valid request.
  1. LIABILITY AGREEMENT: In consideration for the approval of users application to purchase parts, accouterments, ammunition and/or components through the CMP, user agrees to:
    1. Waive any claim against the Corporation for the Promotion of Rifle Practice and Firearms Safety, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and contractors (collectively “CPRPFS” for any personal injury, loss, damage or expense that I might incur arising from the use of these parts, accouterments, ammunition and/or components, and
    2. Defend, indemnify and hold CPRPFS harmless for any claim of a third party arising from the use of these parts, accouterments, ammunition and/or components including any expense incurred by the CPRFS in defending, investigating or settling such a claim.

User agrees this Agreement and legal issues arising from the sale of these parts, accouterments, ammunition and/or components to user shall be governed by the law of the State of Ohio; and if any provision of the Agreement or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement or the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances shall be unaffected. I further agree that this agreement shall be binding upon my executors, administrators, trustees, personal representatives and assigns.

  1. NO-WARRANTY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT – MILITARY SURPLUS. User acknowledges that all military surplus items are in used condition and are sold to the user in a strictly “AS IS”, WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
  1. WARRANTY FOR NON MILITARY SURPLUS. Note that CMP does offer some commercial ammunition, equipment, and other items. These non-surplus items available for purchase from this website are warranted exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with terms and conditions packaged with their products.
  1. CERTIFICATION. User certifies that he/she :
    1. is a citizen of the United States 18 years of age or older;
    2. is not under indictment in any court for a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year;
    3. has not been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year;
    4. is not an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any other depressant, stimulant, or narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance;
    5. is not a fugitive from justice;
    6. has not been adjudicated mentally defective or committed to a mental institution;
    7. has not been discharged from the Armed forces under dishonorable conditions;
    8. is not an alien illegally in the United States and is not a non-resident alien;
    9. is not subject to a court order applicable to the user under 18 U.S.C. §922(g)(8), restraining user from harassing , stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of such a partner;
    10. has not been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence applicable to user under 18 U.S.C. §922(g)(9), including any misdemeanor conviction involving the use or attempted use of physical force committed by a current or former spouse, parent, or guardian of the victim or by a person with a similar relationship to the victim;
    11. will not be in violation, by reason of user’s receipt or possession of any item purchased from this site, of any state law or published ordinance applicable where user resides;
    12. has not been convicted of any federal or state felony or violation of 18 U.S.C. §922 and is not a member of any organization that advocates the violent overthrow of the United states Government;
    13. is a current member of a gun club or state association or other organization affiliated with the CMP;
    14. is purchasing ammunition, parts, and any other items from the CMP for personal use and not for resale or other commercial disposition;
    15. acknowledges that any sale is subject to final approval by the CMP within its sole and absolute discretion;
  1. CMP may at any time revise these Terms of Use by updating this page. User is bound by any such revisions and should periodically visit this page to review current terms.

  1. All buyers must sign up and register on our website, to be an actual bidder in the web auction you must agree to the term and conditions listed on the E-store page.

  2. *Please note : Each bidder is only allowed one account. You may not register twice. If you have forgotten your password, you can have it resent to you, or you may call or email us for it. Do not re-register please.

  3. Any and all legitimate bids are accepted.

  4. Keeping true to the auction format of "sold to the highest bidder"...at the close of each sale, items that have been bid on within the last 10 minutes, will remain open for bidding in 10 minute intervals, until there has been no bids within that time frame.
  5. Again, you are legally responsible for payment of any items won at auction with us, and any fees or charges accumulated. If payment is not made, this will in turn forfeit all of your bidding rights to any of the upcoming sales
  6. The Civilian Marksmanship Program relinquishes all responsibilities for the safeguard of any items after the pick-up deadline.
  7. All items are sold as is. All sales are final. Each buyer is responsible to inspect all items. Returns are allowed as long as item is in the exact condition it was received.
  8. Unauthorized use of our pictures and descriptions is not allowed for any reason.
  9. Your bids represent a confirmation of your acceptance of these terms and a contractual agreement to purchase all lots sold to your bidder user ID/Nickname.
