Bore is dark
Rifle has been cut to carbine length. Original barrel has been shortened to 19in, re-crowned and rebated for bayonet. Stock has been shorted at the butt by one half inch and comb drilled for 3 cartridges. All meatal has been painted black. Good headspacing, and 4- groove barrel. This rifle has all military parts. This rifle is complete and in serviceable condition.
