Smith Corona 03-A3
In September 1943, Smith-Corona made a serializing error on several thousand rifles.
The 2nd and 3rd digits were transposed, resulting in several thousand rifles having unusually high serial numbers. This rifle is one of those. This rifle has been over-hauled and re-assembled from mixed parts. The stock exhibits a “3GM-K” its original 5c/8-43 barrel.
