M1 Carbine Field Grade NPM 4280512
Carbine has an N marked front sight on an undated I.B.M. Corp. barrel with an ME of 2 and a SI marked type III band. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut IO potbelly stock, with a RMC 2 rivet handguard, and D.I. recoil plate. It has an EI magazine catch and an M in C rotary safety in a .U. trigger housing, with a H.I. straight hammer and unknown sear, all kept by a PI type V slide. It comes with a PI milled adjustable rear sight.
