M1 Carbine Service Grade National Postal Meter 4262570
Carbine has an SI marked front sight on an undated Marlin barrel with an ME of 1+ and a KI marked type III band. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut HI stock with large crossed cannons, with an unknown 2 rivet handguard, and D.I. recoil plate. It has an M2 magazine catch and a M in C rotary safety in a BE-B trigger housing, with an AMB straight hammer and RI sear, all kept by a PI type V slide. It comes with a PI milled adjustable rear sight.
