M1 Carbine Field Grade National Postal Meter 1524235
Carbine has an N marked front sight on a 7-43 dated Underwood barrel with an ME of 1 and a U marked type I band with a UN swivel. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut BR-B stock with a small crossed cannons, with an LW 4 rivet handguard, and DI recoil plate. It has an SG magazine catch and an flat faced push button safety in an SG trigger housing, with an unknown straight hammer and unknown sear, all kept by a PI 169 type II slide. It comes with a J.A.O. 7160060 stamped adjustable rear sight.
