This is a Springfield Model 1903A1 rifle 1512433.
Muzzle Gauge: 1.5
Throat Gauge: 5.5
The barrel is a four-grooved SA barrel dated 5-39; it is in good condition with little rust. The receiver has a drawing number of C64112 and a B2 bolt. The stock is a C stock with a drawing number of D1836. The handguard has a drawing number of D28179. This rifle has a grooved trigger, a fine checkered buttplate, and Greek finish, as well as being star gauged. It has a stamp of "8" on the underside of the bolt handle and a stamp of "S 4 3" on the stock underneath the bolt in addition to the proof marking.
