This is a service grade Winchester Model 1917 Enfield rifle 3724.
Muzzle Gauge: 2+
Barrel: W 8-17
The bore of this rifle is in good condition with little to no rust.
The stock of this rifle has some minor dings and scratches.
Markings: Stamped what appears to be "VFW 1554" on stock; There is also another stamp on the other side of the stock, but it is very faint; Stamped "W" and "NS" on bolt handle; Bomb and star markings on the receiver, as well as "24A" and "26A;" Stamped "S79" on trigger guard; Stamped "W" on front sight
Other Information: This rifle has a cross-hatched pattern on top of the front sights. It also has a smooth butt-plate and a grooved trigger.
