M1 Carbine Service Grade Saginaw S’G’ 3217163
Carbine has an unmarked front sight on a 5-43 dated
Underwood barrel with an ME of 2 and a KI marked type III band. The receiver is set in a low wood oval cut stock with no distinguishable cartouches or manufacturer’s marks, with an L-J 4 rivet handguard, and Standard Products recoil plate. It has an SI magazine catch and a M in C rotary safety in an Inland trigger housing, with a NH straight hammer and R.I. sear, all kept by an N over 5 type IV slide. It comes with a J.A.O. 7160060 stamped adjustable rear sight.
