This is a collector grade un-ssued M1 Garand rifle SA 5849664.

The bore of this rifle is in great condition with no rust and/or pitting; it has a great crown and is in the white.

Safety: SA-11
Markings: Cast on trigger; Stamped "O" on gas cylinder screw; DOD and proof markings on stock.

This rifle is un-issued, as is evident by the dry preservative and lack of oiling. The front sight wrap is still visible as well.
The wood of this rifle is GI wood with two large and deep dings on the side of it. Make sure to inspect this area to decide if you want to bid on it.
