This is a service grade M1 Garand rifle SA 3287.

Barrel: S-A-8-5X (the last number in the date is too faded to read any longer)
The bore of this rifle is in good condition with little to no rust and/or pitting and is coated in grease; it is not in the white and will need a good cleaning.
Receiver: D 28291
Bolt: D28287-19SA B-14
Op-Rod: 6535382 HRA.
Trigger Housing: 6528290-SA
Hammer: SA D5546008
Safety: SA11
Markings: Cast marking on trigger; Stamped "P" and "O" on gas cylinder screw; Stamped "29" on stock.
Other Information: Cut op-rod; Flat lower band with solid pin; Loose front handguard and rear sling swivel; Flared front sight; Cracked on top of front handguard.
The wood of this rifle appears to be GI wood with some dings, scratches, scrapes, and/or gouges, but there are no cartouches or proof markings to verify that it actually is.
This rifle is still coated in grease and will need a thorough cleaning.
