This is a service grade M1 Garand rifle SA 5846056.
This Garand appears like an un-issued rifle, bearing the un-oiled appearance and dry preservative characteristic of those rifels, but the bolt is different than expected. There is some rust on the op-rod spring that can be easily cleaned off as well.
