This is a service grade M1 Garand rifle SA 2205645.
This rifle is a nice 1946 rebuild that didn't see much use after it was rebuilt. The rifle has some mixed parts, as it should, and a like new set of lock-bar rear sight and parts. It also has a modified SA 10 op-rod. This rifle maintains around 99% of the orginal finish with a few dings. The stock and hardware are in good condition with a deep struck SA/SHM cartouche. It is a very good example of the post-war rebuild rifles that haven't seen extensive use since.
