This is a CMP Custom Shop full National Match .30-06 M1-D Garand sniper rifle with new scope SA 2643781.
This rifle has been worked and modified by the custom shop at the CMP. The barrel of this rifle is a new 1-10 Kreiger barrel that has been modified to the M1-D configuration. The scope of this rifle is a Hi-Lux M-82 reproduction scope, and the scope mount is a reproduction as well. The cheek pad of this rifle is an original leather cheek pad with the date stamped on it. This rifle has been upgraded to feature the following: a trigger clean up to 4.5 lbs, an AFPG style 1/2 M.O.A. rear sight with commercial hooded aperture, a commercial .062 NM front sight, a unitized lower handguard, a glass bedded commercial stock, and an NM modification to the gas cylinder. The wood of this rifle is new production CMP wood with very few imperfections. This rifle has a test fire group print-out that is included with the rifle.
