This is a Model 03-A3 rifle Remington with S-stock 3364658.
This rifle has an original four-grooved Remington barrel dated RA 12-42 with the proof mark clearly visible. The muzzle gauge is a 0, and the throat gauge is a 2. The bore of this rifle is a dark bore in okay condition with little rust/pitting. The crown of this rifle is in okay condition. "R" is stamped on the bolt, bolt handle, bolt release, safety, front and rear sling swivel, front band and stacking swivel. A "P" IS stamped on the under side of the barrel. The stock has an "FJA" cartouche, a proof marking stamped on the stock, "6", and various proof markings forward of the trigger guard. The wood of this rifle is moderately worn GI wood with some imperfections and a few lightly damaged areas.
