Other Information: *Notes from the Armorer* Early M1 national match rifle, SA # 4333747, barrel 4-53 NM. S.A. started pulling new rifles off the line in early '53 & making NM rifle out of them. We cannot prove that this is one of the 850 original match rifles by S.A, but they would have looked like this with only the barrel being NM. The rifle has a TE of 4 & a Muzzle of 1+ and the bore is bright and shiny. This rifle has about 99% of the original finish remaining.
The wood of this rifle is GI wood with some imperfections.
Sold as is.
