This is a Model 1903 Mark I with S stock Springfield Armory 1106377.
The barrel of this rifle is SA barrel dated 9-19 with visible proof marking and the letter "A" stamped underneath. The muzzle reading is 2 and the throat reading is 5.5. The Bore of this rifle is in okay condition with some rust/pitting. The barrel is a Four-grooved barrel. A "U" appears on the front sling swivel band and there is also an "H" stamped on the bayonet lug. S.S.A cartouche appears on the stock.
Notes from the Armorer:
The rifle has all the special parts unique to the MK1: receiver, trigger + sear, magazine cut off spindle + screw and stock. Barrel is marked SA 9-19. Stock is stamped with a boxed DAL plus a AAS rebuild stamp. There are 3 proof marks: block P in a circle, stamped P, and Boxed P. Bolt is marked J5 and has curved handle. Barrel + receiver appear to have their original finish. Bore is dark with a good amount of rifleing remaining.
