This is an M1 Garand drill rifle SA 2524471.
This rifle is non-functional and has not been demilitarized to current standards, and CMP cannot condone the repairation of drill rifles. That risk is assumed solely by the customer and gunsmith.
This rifle's metal has been fully chrome-plated, and the bolt is welded thoroughly to the receiver and possibly the barrel.
This rifle is missing the gas cylinder lock, op-rod catch, bullet guide, follower, follower arm, and follower rod and spring and is not being sold with them included.
