This is an M1 Garand drill rifle WRA 100897.
This is actually a very early Winchester, even given the condition it is in.
It has a plastic stock, both front and rear handguards are cracked, the barrel is plugged with a poor crown, and it is welded at the gas cylinder, op-rod slide, and at the receiver/barrel connection.
This rifle is non-functional, and CMP cannot condone the repairation of drill rifles. The risk is assumed by the customer and the gunsmith.
The metal of this rifle has rust on a significant portion.
