Remington International 11657 (AMU)

Remington international receiver used for 300m Prone events. Rifle has an Anschutz double set trigger.

 “Remington International Receiver (solid top with ejection port, single shot). Receiver measures 6.350” from rear of bridge [from where receiver is D&T (drilled and tapped) for scope base] to front of receiver ring. S/N is 11657. Receiver D&T at rear only for scope base ( barrel D&T over chamber for front scope base). Receiver D&T on left for Iron Sight. Double Set trigger is a Special design (not Rem 40x) and is unmarked, Recoil lug appears to be dove tailed and screwed into receiver (not a spacer as on a 40X). 

26” heavy tapered barrel, stainless steel Barrel is marked Hart- 1x14 .308 APR 69. D&T for scope block over chamber and for Iron Front sight. Muzzle wear = 0. Muzzle dimension about .75”. Bolt is numbered 657 on root.

Laminated walnut thumbhole stock. Action arm(?) glass bedded. Stock numbered 44657 in channel & has full length rail. Grip and thumb hole are stippled. Butt plate base adjustable for length of pull. Butt plate (prone style) adjustable for height. Receiver remains about 98% blue; Finish on bolt worn. Stock VG-EX with cover(?), not visible splits, cracks or chips. Butt covered in tape and moleskin.”

Recoil lug is not dovetailed. There has a crack on the stock on both sides behind the trigger. They are small and barely noticeable. You do have to remove receiver and from stock to remove bolt. That is the only way to access the bolt stop release.
