Inland M1A1 Carbine 347679, Service Grade
Carbine has an N stamped front sight, on an Inland MFG DIV General Motors 4-43 barrel, with an ME of 1+. It has a type I barrel band stamped U. The Inland stamped trigger housing has an unmarked magazine stamp, a J.A.O. stamped rotary safety, HI stamped straight hammer, and an RI stamper sear. It has a milled rear adjustable sight, stamped with an H in a shield. It has a type II slide. The high wood, “Slim Jim” stock, is stamped IO on the inside; the leather is in fair condition with brass rivets. The 2 rivet hand guard is stamped IO.
