This is an Remington Model 1903A4 WWII Sniper Rifle with M73B1 Weaver Scope 24197.

The serial number of this rifle is 4992377. The barrel date is 12/43 and the scope serial number is 24197. This rifle has the correct scant stock with RA/FJA cartouche, crossed cannon and the inspectors stamps in front of the trigger guard. The trigger housing has the large guard that came out in mid '43. The rifle has a muzzle reading of "1" and a T.E. of "1+". The bore is bright and the barrel is two groove rifling. The scope tube is still blued and has over 90% of the finish remaining. The scope rings are weaver and are also blued. The scope optics are clear with no trash. The cross hairs are crisp and clear. The rifle has all Remington parts and has about 95% finish remaining. A '44 dated model 1907 leather sling comes with the rifle.

THe rifle is an excellent example of a vintage 03A4 WWII Sniper rifle.
