Springfield Model 1903 - serial number 44352.
This item has a barrel dated S.A./05/A. The bore is in fair condition with clear rifling and light pitting. The Throat gauges at 3. The Muzzle gauges at 1. Item has approximately 60 to 70% of the parkerized finish remaining. This is an early rifle in the rod bayonet serial range assembked at The CMP using an original barreled receiver. Early high wood 2-bolt stock with boxed "J.F.C." and "RA-P" cartouches. Letters on lower bands, safety, and cut off. Grooved and dished sight knobs. Early pinned trigger guard. Early pointed trigger and numbered buttplate. No "H" bayonet lug. Early bolt marked "s." High handgaurd. All information is per included paperwork.
