DESCRIPTION
Remington Model 40-X S/N: 39205B
Rifle is chambered in 30-338. Rifle has a heavy target barrel. Barrel dated 5-76. Bolt has 39211 stenciled on it. There is some pitting on the bolt. Barrel and receiver are drilled and tapped for sights and scope bases. Approximately 90% original blue-black finish. Single action(no internal or external magazine). Stock has handrail embedded in bottom. Action is glass bedded in stock.
