This rifle has a barrel marked RA 12-42. The muzzle gauges at 0+. The throat gauges at 1+. Rifle has a good bore. FJA cartouche on stock. Proof marking and assembly inspection markings on stock. This early Remington Model 1093A3 falls in the overlap serial range with concurrent production of M1903 rifles. The rifle is all correct and original including the 12-42 dated 4-grooved barrel. The rifle is complete and in lightly-used condition. The rifle includes the unusual two-piece front sight - typical of rifles in this serial range.
