DESCRIPTION
Remington Model 1903A3 - 3711834
This rifle has a barrel marked RA 9-43. The muzzle gauges at 1. The throat gauges at 1+. Rifle has a good bore. FJA cartouche and proof marking on stock. This rifle includes an unmarked sight. In 1943, Smith-Corona overran their assigned serial number block by about 5,000 rifles and into Remington’s serial number block. Smith-Corona was ordered to denote their duplicate serial numbers with “C” prefix. This Remington rifle’s serial number falls in the Smith-Corona duplicate serial number range. The rifle is correct and original.
